Again I will reiterate – Work Profile enrollment is only a single element of the Android Enterprise story which is designed with the personally owned BYOD devices in mind. Now in order to ensure that users are able to enroll thier Android devices with Work Profiles (typically for BYOD use case scenarios) this will need to be enabled within enrollment restrictions. The term “Work Profile Only” in the screenshot above I believe is actually incorrect and should be changed to “Profile Owner Only”. When the DPC is operating in a way that it has control over the whole device, this is called Device Owner.
